July 9th Mini-Course

Turning Work into Play

Featuring

Diane Schoenert, Training Specialist and Curriculum Developer, Texas Workforce Commission

Why do some people spend hours playing games? What is it about game playing that motivates them to engage this way? What if work could be like playing a game? Imagine a workplace where the employees are as motivated and engaged in their work as they would be playing a game. This presentation takes a look at the techniques game designers use to motivate and engage players and learn how to apply those ideas to make work more fun and fulfilling.
