Strategic Planning and LAR Processes: 
What Does that Mean to Me?

It is that time again. Agencies will soon receive their instructions for the Strategic Plan submissions and then shortly thereafter, the instructions for completing their Legislative Appropriations Request. These processes may seem confusing at first but once they have been demystified, you will have a better understanding of how to help your agency with the strategic plan and LAR requirements.

Make plans to attend the first 2014 EWTG mini-course on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 11:30 learn about these key agency activities.  You will learn about the agencies requirements for preparing and submitting the Strategic Plan and LAR and how agency's budget is affected by these reports.

Marva Scallion, Fiscal Projects Director, with the Legislative Budget Board, will be our expert presenter on this topic.

Agencies will be very busy with these processes over the next several months and this is your chance to learn about the required strategic plans and LAR submissions.

The mini-course begins at 11:30 AM and the program begins at noon, ending promptly at 1 PM. The mini-course will be at the Carver Library, 1161 Angelina St., TX 78702.

EWTG will provide pizza, loads of fresh green salad, dessert and drinks for $10, or you can bring your own brown bag lunch.
