Margo Wickersham

“How I started over, dealt with difficulty and achieved more than ever, after the age of 50.”

Margo Wickersham is a sales and marketing expert who specializes in showing people how to ask for and get what they want. She consults, coaches, mentors, speaks, writes, and collaborates with entrepreneurs and professionals to teach them how to earn respect, increase revenue and thrive.

Margo is a creative problem solver who finds innovative solutions for marketing and sales challenges. She quickly sees the big picture and identifies new opportunities for revenue, productivity and happiness growth. Margo also brings fresh light to existing problems and finds new opportunities for organizations that have become stagnant. She has a unique ability to maintain a positive focus on the primary goals, regardless of setbacks or conflicting views of others.

Margo earned her degree in Journalism at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. A native of Florida, she self-financed her entire college education at out-of-state rates by waiting tables and graduated a semester early. Margo was one of Dell’s first internet business strategists in the late 90s. She trained hundreds of sales reps on how to use the company’s industry leading website to increase their productivity and sales. Promoted at the forefront of the e-commerce explosion, Margo was named Manager of She led her team to redesign the award-winning website for Dell, which resulted in increased conversion rates, average value of each sale and customer satisfaction rate.

Margo chairs the social media and live video efforts for the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW). She is a member of the Association of Talent and Development (ATD) and volunteers her coaching and training services for Dress for Success Austin (DFS Austin).  She has been a guest speaker at a variety of meetings and events and volunteers with the Booster Club at the high school that her two teenagers attend.
