Conference Information

The annual conference is the centerpiece of EWTG’s educational activities. The conference program is designed to support professional development and EWTG’s mission to promote leadership in service to Texas. Held on the Monday before Thanksgiving, the day-long conference includes outstanding keynote speakers and workshops led by experts in their respective fields. With over 500 in attendance the sessions bring together professional women from across state and local government and higher education, as well as some private sector professionals.

Between sessions the conferees may browse exhibits on state programs and initiatives, offerings by private entrepreneurs and an impressive array of silent auction items. Proceeds from the silent auction support EWTG’s scholarship program, which benefits qualified members seeking training or other educational opportunities to enhance their professional credentials, increase their skills or to make a career change.
