The EWTG Community Service Committee is getting organized and looking forward to providing multiple volunteer opportunities for EWTG members in the coming months. The Community Service Committee is chaired by Gloria Brown Oliver and includes members Kelly Keel, Paula Griffin, Deborah Bice-Broussard, Debbie Peterson, and Carol Jackson.

The committee is looking forward to continuing to support GENaustin with donations and to participating in the Empty Bowl project, which supports the Capitol Area Food Bank.  The traditional Teddy Bear drive will continue and hopefully be even bigger in 2008.   The new Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders offers some great opportunities for partnership between EWTG and the School., and the committee is working on the best ways to begin that partnership.

The Community Service Committee will provide donation information and information about volunteer opportunities in the EWTG newsletter, on the EWTG website, at luncheon meetings and via email.
